Mastitis (मैस्टाइटिस) is a medical condition that refers to inflammation of the mammary gland, which is also known as the breast. It can be characterized by symptoms such as breast pain, swelling, and discharge. Mastitis is a type of breast infection and can be caused by bacteria entering the breast tissue through a cracked or sore nipple. It can occur in both women and men but is more common in women who are breastfeeding.

When contaminated milk accumulates in a woman's breast, it can lead to the formation of a lump in the breast of the nursing mother, causing intense pain and discomfort, commonly known as mastitis.

The disease is more common during childbirth, but can also occur during the postpartum period.

Symptoms of the disease include severe pain in the breast when touched or pressed, the breast becoming red, and it becoming difficult to touch or feel.

In addition to these symptoms, the woman's body temperature can sometimes rise to 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a new breast lump, there is more pain and burning sensation.

Other causes of mastitis can include blood disorders, excessive body heat, injury to the breast, or a blocked milk duct.

Natural remedies for mastitis include consuming a mixture of ginger, goat's milk, and deodar, which can help to alleviate the symptoms of the disease.

Take half a cup of the mixture daily, morning and evening.

रोग के लक्षण...

स्त्री के स्तन को,  छूने तथा हाथ लगाने से, उस में बहुत तेज दर्द होता है।

स्तन रक्त की अधिकता युक्त लाल और स्पर्श करने में अक्षम  हो जाते हैं।

स्त्री का तापक्रम कभी कभी 105 डिग्री फारेनहाइट तक हो जाता है।

नए स्तन शोथ में,  अधिक दर्द  एवं जलन होती है।

स्तन शोथ के लक्षण..

इसके अतिरिक्त रक्त विकार, शरीर में पित्त की अधिकता, चोट लग जाना स्तन में, दूध के सड़ जाने आदि से भी यह रोग हो जाता है।
